Sandals Barbados Restaurants Reviews

While all of the restaurants at both Sandals Barbados resorts offer delicious choices, guests do have their favorites. According to Sandals Barbados restaurant reviews online, Sandals Barbados best restaurants include Bombay (Indian), Greenhouse (healthy/vegetarian), Chi (Asian fusion), Soy (sushi), Heart & Sol (smoothies, sandwiches, soups, juices), the Jerk Shack, Schooner’s (seafood), La Parisienne (French), Butch’s Chophouse (steaks and seafood), and Neptune’s (Mediterranean and seafood).

We absolutely agree with these picks. Our top Sandals Barbados restaurants were Greenhouse, Heart & Sol, Chi, Soy, Bombay, and American Tavern.

At Greenhouse we had the most flavorful meal we’ve ever enjoyed at a Sandals resort—a grilled portabello mushroom dish. We loved it even though we aren’t vegetarian so that tells you how good it was.

Sandals Barbados Restaurants Dress Code

Almost all restaurants at Sandals have a dress code, which will be either resort casual or resort evening attire. Resort casual includes shorts, jeans, casual pants like khakis, t-shirts, and polo shirts. You must wear both shirts and shoes in all restaurants. Flipflops and sandals are fine.

For resort evening attire, men need to wear dress pants or nice jeans and long or short-sleeved dress shirts, with or without a collar—no t-shirts or sleeveless shirts. Hats are not allowed, and shoes must be nicer closed-toe shoes. Women can wear dress pants, nice jeans, or skirts with a nice top, or dresses. Shoes should be nice sandals or heels—no flipflops or sneakers.

During the day you can be dressed casually, but women will need to have a coverup on over their bathing suit.

Sandals Barbados Restaurant Tips

Be sure to check the dress code for the restaurants you plan to go to in advance so you can pack the right items.

As at any Sandals resort, some of the restaurants require reservations for dinner. These tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend making all your dinner reservations as soon as you arrive. Some restaurants are closed on certain nights, so be aware of that when making your plans.

If you want to be able to order room service, you’ll need to book a club or butler level room. Inroom dining is available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. in club rooms and 24 hours in butler suites.
