Sandals Club Level vs Butler Quick Take

Butler level is the most expensive, but the rooms are spectacular and it comes with really great extras like 24-hour butler service, so it is worth it for some people. Club level costs less than butler but still gives you a nicer room and experience, so it’s also a great option, in our opinion.

Sandals Club Level vs Butler Overview

Club accommodations are the mid-level rooms and suites at Sandals Resorts. They are larger and a little more luxurious than the entry-level rooms, and they come with multiple extra amenities including concierge service and room service.

Butler accommodations, also known as Butler Elite, are the best suites available at a Sandals resort and the most expensive. They are often unique in design and always the largest and swankiest of the suites. Additionally, they come with amenities including butler service.

It’s important to note that every room level at Sandals comes with all the amazing inclusions, such as all meals and snacks, all drinks including premium spirits and Robert Mondavi wines, stocked minibars and Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee in your room, nonmotorized watersports including snorkeling and scuba diving, land activities such as tennis and golf, nightly entertainment, airport transfers, WiFi, and all tips and taxes. (If you’re in a butler level suite, however, you will want to tip your butler. We suggest $25/day, more for exceptional requests or service.)

Sandals Club Level Benefits

When comparing Club level rooms to Butler level rooms, there are two main differences.

The Club rooms are usually nice, but will be smaller than butler rooms. Many of the butler suites will have some sort or living room or large bar area with a separate bedroom area while club lever rooms are usually all one room.

The benefits of a club level room at Sandals are a private check-in and orientation, dedicated concierge service, room service between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., a full-size stocked bar in your room instead of a minibar, and larger rooms with better views and a more luxurious feel. There are also special events just for Club Sandals guests.

You also get access to the Club Sandals lounge, which is a private space that is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and has snacks and drinks. This is where you’ll be taken to check in. The service begins when you arrive at the resort, as a Club Sandals representative will meet you with a cool towel and then escort you to the lounge for check-in. You’ll also get a private orientation to the resort, which can be really helpful for first-time visitors.

The Club Sandals concierge team is available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. to help you with anything you need, such as dinner or spa reservations, booking excursions, or managing extras like private dinners on the beach.

If you compare Sandals club level vs luxury, you’ll see that a big difference is that you get room service in a club room but not in a luxury room. Often, you’ll find that the price of club level rooms isn’t much more than the luxury level rooms.

Is club level at Sandals worth it?

Most couples who choose club-level rooms think that it’s definitely worth it. They say the private check-ins, concierge service, and room service really enhance their experience.

There are also a lot of great club-level rooms that make for a comfortable stay.

Sandals Butler Level Benefits

When you book a butler-level suite at Sandals, the main benefit is that you receive 24-hour personal butler service.

This service includes greeting you as soon as you step foot on the resort with a glass of champagne, snacks, and a lemongrass-scented cool towel, then taking you to your suite where you can enjoy the check-in process in comfort. Your butler can also unpack for you, iron your clothes, make dinner and spa reservations, and more.

You’ll get a cell phone you can use to contact your butler at any time. You can have room service 24 hours a day, and you can also request food and drinks to be brought to you at the pool or on the beach. You’ll even get the best seats at dinner, and can ask to be taken there via golf cart if you wish.

In your suite, you’ll get a full bar stocked with premium liquor and sparkling wine (in addition to the usual Robert Mondavi wines, beer, soda, and juice).

At the end of your stay, your butler can pack and handle all the departure arrangements. They’ll even take your bags to the departure area and escort you to your airport transportation. At some resorts, this will be a private transfer in a luxury vehicle like a BMW or Rolls Royce.

Plus, the butler level suites are truly incredible. These are the absolute best that Sandals has to offer, and they usually include extras like private pools in addition to tons of space and gorgeous views. Some of the top butler suites, also called Love Nest Suites, are the overwater bungalows, Rondovals, Millionaire Blufftop Suites, penthouse suites, villas, and SkyPool Suites.

Sandals Club Level vs. Butler Cost

Sandals club level rooms cost a bit more than luxury level rooms, and the butler level suites cost the most of all. However, there are multiple price points within each room category.

There’s usually quite a jump between club and butler level, with the most expensive club level suite costing about $200+ less than the least expensive butler level suite.

You can often find good deals on both club and butler rooms at Sandals, especially if you travel in the offseason. And some resorts, such as Sandals Royal Plantation and Sandals Ochi in Jamaica, have less expensive butler suites than other Sandals resorts.

Sandals Club Level vs. Butler Conclusion

Both of these room categories have wonderful perks that make your Sandals stay even more special. Although they cost more, most people agree that it’s well worth the money. Butler suites especially deliver a super-luxurious and indulgent experience that would be perfect for trips like honeymoons and anniversary celebrations.
