Located on Jamaica’s southern shore in a lush nature reserve, the secluded Sandals South Coast is a favorite for honeymoons and romantic, relaxing vacations. Since it’s not very close to any towns or other Sandals resorts, it’s important to know what the Sandals South Coast restaurants are like.

Luckily, there is a wide variety of options, and the food is very good. We really enjoyed everything we had on our visit there. Read on to learn all about Sandals South Coast restaurants including what they serve, what the dress code is, and what hours they’re open.

There are 9 restaurants at Sandals South Coast serving a variety of cuisines from Caribbean, Jamaican, and seafood to Italian, Asian, and Mediterranean. Only two of the restaurants require reservations, and only one requires dressy clothes.

There are also two new food trucks, offering tacos and chicken tenders.

What is the Best Restaurant at Sandals South Coast?

This is completely subjective because everyone has different taste. My personal favorite is Sushi in the Sand and the Chicken Food Truck. Schooners Seafood is also a favorite.

Breakfast at Sandals South Coast

Breakfast options at Sandals South Coast include buffet-style, a la carte, a coffee café, and room service.

You can always start your day with a coffee and pastry at Cafe de Paris which opens at 6am. Bayside has a breakfast buffet each morning starting at 7:30 with a omelet bar and other items make hot to order.

For an a la carte options, Eleanors serves everything you would expect at breakfast like avocado toast, smooth bowls, waffles and eggs benedict and opens at 8am.

If you are in the Longbeach rooms it is quite a walk to restaurants so room service is a great option.

Sandals South Coast Restaurants Dress Code

As you can see in the list above, restaurants at Sandals South Coast have a dress code and require either resort casual or resort evening attire. Resort casual clothing can be shorts, casual pants, T-shirts, sundresses, or bathing suits with coverups. You must wear shirts and shoes but the shoes can be flipflops.

Resort evening attire means that men must wear nicer pants or jeans and shirts (no t-shirts) and closed-toe shoes; women should wear nicer pants or skirts and tops, or nicer dresses, and appropriate shoes. No shorts, t-shirts or sleeveless shirts, hats, flipflops, or tennis shoes.
