How to Elope at Sandals
It’s incredibly easy to elope at Sandals resorts. They have a dedicated wedding team that can answer any questions and help you plan the perfect wedding, whether it’s just the two of you or you want to celebrate with friends and family.
Make Your Elopement Simple

We have helped dozens of couples elope in the last few years and can make it easy for you at no additional cost. To get started, contact us to help you book your trip to Sandals, making sure you get the best price possible.
Alternatively, you can always book your trip directly on Sandals.com.
Book Your Sandals Vacation
In order to get started you can simply book your vacation and as you go through the booking process it will ask you if you are planning a wedding.

After this you will be assigned a wedding coordinator who will walk you through the rest of the process.
Elopements at Sandals are legal ceremonies, and your wedding coordinator will guide you through the requirements and paperwork necessary for that location in advance. In most cases, you will need to handle this at least 60 days in advance, or you can get married before your trip and bring your marriage certificate.

Choose Your Venue
There are all sorts of amazing wedding venues at Sandals resorts, from breathtaking beaches to overwater chapels to oceanfront or overwater gazebos to golf courses to resort or garden chapels. Sandals Royal Bahamian offers ceremonies on its private island, and both Sandals resorts in Barbados offer the amazing Sky Terrace with its rooftop bar and infinity pool.
Of course, when you elope at a Sandals resort, you get to enjoy all the usual luxury amenities that are included in your rate. These include all meals and snacks at multiple gourmet restaurants; unlimited nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks including premium spirits and Robert Mondavi wines; a minibar in the room that is refreshed daily; unlimited nonmotorized watersports including paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkeling; two dives a day for certified scuba divers; unlimited land sports and activities like tennis and beach volleyball—and golf at some resorts; a fitness center; daily and nightly entertainment; WiFi; airport transfers; and all taxes and tips.

Elope at Sandals Packages
They make it especially easy to elope at Sandals with a special wedding package called the Two Lovebirds Package. Created just for two, it includes all you need for the perfect stress-free elopement.
This includes a wedding planning team, gift registry and wedding website templates, and preparation of the documents you’ll need to get a marriage license beforehand. Once you’re there, you get a “Scents of Love” couples’ massage before the wedding to get you relaxed and ready.
The onsite wedding team will coordinate everything, including setup and breakdown for your ceremony. You get a lovely location, pre-recorded music, attendant, and a bouquet and boutonniere of roses, for the ceremony.
Your celebration afterward includes a private 1-hour cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres and sparkling wine, a two-tiered white fondant wedding cake, a reception table with white linen and white cushioned Chiavari chairs, and a private candlelight dinner with four-course menu and prosecco. The package also includes 10 digital images of the day.
If you stay for your honeymoon, you also get a honeymoon dinner and sparkling wine in one of the specialty restaurants as well as a bottle of chilled sparkling wine, a sweet treat, turn-down service on your wedding night, and breakfast in bed one morning.
You can come back on your anniversary and get a free night if you stay 7 or more nights in a club or butler level room.
This package currently costs $1300 and is available at all of the Sandals resorts.
Of course, there are plenty of options you can add on for extra money, such as special ceremony locations, having the wedding at twilight, additional photography, and videography.
If you want to have guests at your elopement, there are packages for that as well. The Sweetheart Wedding Package is for up to 10 guests, the Bliss Wedding Package is for 12-50, and the Epic Wedding Package is for 52 people or more.
Free Weddings at Sandals
You can get a free wedding at Sandals if you stay at least 7 nights in Club or Butler room. The Sweetheart Package, which usually costs $1000, is good for up to 10 people and also gives you a 15% discount at the spa as well as credits toward photography and videography packages. Free ceremonies are limited to Monday through Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Wedding Venues at Sandals
As we mentioned above, there’s a variety of unique and beautiful wedding venues at Sandals. They differ depending on which resort you’re at, but here’s a brief overview. First and foremost, there’s the spectacular white-sand beach at every Sandals resort that’s perfect for the beach ceremony of your dreams.
The amazing overwater wedding chapels, which feature 360-degree views of the Caribbean and a glass-floored aisle, can be found at Sandals Grande St. Lucian and three locations in Jamaica: Sandals South Coast, Sandals Montego Bay, and Sandals Ochi.
There are also overwater gazebos, at Sandals Grande St. Lucian, Sandals Royal Bahamian, and Sandals Royal Caribbean in Jamaica. Sandals Royal Caribbean also has a gorgeous private island, just offshore from the resort, that has restaurant and pool with swim-up bar. Practically every Sandals resort also has an oceanfront wedding gazebo as well, which is open air and has wonderful water views, and/or a garden gazebo tucked amidst lush landscaping.
The Sky Terrace at Sandals Royal Barbados features a rooftop terrace, bar, and infinity pool. If you like a more traditional feel, Sandals Montego Bay has the Intimate Resort Chapel, which is secluded in a garden and features stained glass windows, wooden pews, a vaulted ceiling, and an altar.
Three Sandals resorts have the European Wedding Garden: Sandals Grande Antigua, Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas, and Sandals Ochi in Jamaica. These have elegantly landscaped gardens with water features and a white pergola.
