My husband and I recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in Montego Bay Jamaica. We spent our first honeymoon at Sandals Royal Caribbean, and we always said that we would go back for our 20th anniversary. Fast forward to May, where we made that dream come true. We decided to start our vacation off right and use Club Mobay arrival service to begin our Jamaican vacation.
In this post, I will be discussing all the benefits of using the Club Mobay arrival service, and why you shouldn’t start your Jamaican vacation without it!
FAQ’s About Club Mobay Arrival Service
Here are a few of the most common questions answered about the Club Mobay arrival lounge:
What is Club Mobay Arrival
When you land at the airport and deplane, a Club Mobay agent greets travelers immediately upon entering the airport. As you make your way off your flight, look for someone holding a paddle with your name. That’s when your travel experience gets easier as agents then escort travelers through a dedicated immigration and customs’ lanes.
How do I book the Club Mobay arrival lounge?
Some resorts, like the Sandals in Jamaica, give you the option to purchase Club Mobay when you make a reservation. If you aren’t staying there, the easiest way to book Club Mobay arrival service is through the VIP Attractions website, which is their official page. You can also call the customer service phone number at 1-800-768-8370.
How far ahead can you make a reservation for Club Mobay arrival service?
You can book Club Mobay as soon as you book your flights. In fact, I can’t stress enough to do this. Because of how popular the service is, it books up fast. In order to provide fast & efficient services, the Club Mobay arrival lounge limits the number of tickets each day and divides them among the flights coming in that day.
Sometimes they have walk-in seats available, as well as passes for credit card customers and certain first-class seats on select airlines.
How much does Club Mobay cost for arrival?
For arrival services, the cost* is $50 per adult, $25 per child (2-12 years old), free for infants (under 2). Some other costs at the lounge:
*Rates quoted in USD and subject to change
*Airport transfers not included
*Spa services at an additional cost
What are the opening hours of the Club Mobay lounge?
The arrival lounge general operates during the following hours: Mon-Sun 06:00AM-8:00PM**. Be sure to contact them if you have any questions about changes in times or flights. They are always happy to help.

I have a voucher for Club Mobay. How long is it good for?
Your voucher is good for your arrival day only and lasts until you get your transport to your resort.
Do I tip for Club Mobay services?
The staff at Club Mobay can be tipped. There is no set amount, so you can tip what you feel comfortable with. We usually tip our escort from the plane & our server in the lounge.
Our Experience After Deplaning
After we got off the plane and started walking into the airport, our escort Julia met us with a sign and a huge smile.
First thing she did was check our customs and immigrations form. After just one quick fix, we were on our way to the customs desk. While the line was fairly short for customs, it was still nice to get escorted to the front of the line. After just a few short moments, we were headed to baggage claim.
Julia helped us find our luggage, and then escorted us through immigrations. We had nothing to declare so we passed right through. Then we headed to the Sandals lounge to check-in. Julia checked us in, waited until our bags were tagged, then escorted us next door to the Club Mobay Arrival Lounge.
Experiencing the Club Mobay Arrival Lounge:
After giving us the envelope we needed for the departure lounge, she then turned over to the capable hands of the Arrival Lounge staff. And it was wonderful service from start to finish.
The first thing we received was a cup of rum punch. I was waiting for this from the moment we heard about the Club Mobay Arrival Lounge. And let me tell you, it absolutely did not disappoint and was so worth the wait! I have to admit ahead of time that it was my favorite drink during the trip.
After enjoying our first cup, one of the nice gentleman in the lounge(so sorry we didn’t catch his name), took our Tervis cups to fill them for the road. We were SO appreciative of it! In the meantime, we were very quickly served a second cup. Yay!
Once we enjoyed our first drink, we headed over to check out the complimentary foods that were available. There was a nice selection of finger foods and desserts. It was the perfect snack to hold us over until we reached the resort.
Having pastries laced with rum is definitely a great way to start your vacation! About 15 minutes later, our transportation was called and we were headed to the resort.
In case you need to wait longer, there is a TV and comfortable seats in the lounge.
Here is an example of all the foods you may find at any given time, subject to availability of course. There may be salads & pasta, sandwich wraps, and sandwiches. Beverages include rum punch, Red Stripe and Red Stripe Light, Rum & Cokes, sodas, lemonade, water, and coffee & tea. It is just the right amount to satisfy your appetite after you get off the plane and wait to get to your resort.
Our Thoughts On This Service
We cannot recommend this service enough. We have been to Jamaica 4 times, and another one coming up soon. The only time we didn’t use this service was in 1997 because it was not even thought of yet. In fact, we always say that we won’t travel to Jamaica without it!
This is why you need to start your vacation with the Club Mobay Arrival services! It gives you the first taste of the hospitality that Jamaica is known for. It is also the perfect oasis until you hit your resort destination! Club Mobay arrival service is available in Montego Bay at Sangster International Airport and in Kingston at Norman Manley International Airport. Be sure to book early, as spots are limited.
