Sesame Street Resort Details: All You Need to Know
While there are Sesame Place resorts in Philadelphia and San Diego, what most people mean by “Sesame Street Resort” is a Beaches resort.
These family friendly all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean have an exclusive partnership with Sesame Street. This means that at Beaches Resorts, Sesame Street characters pop up throughout the grounds, have parades, and interact with kids through special character breakfasts and other events.
There are currently three Beaches Resorts: Beaches Turks & Caicos, Beaches Ocho Rios, and Beaches Negril. Three more are planned: Beaches Exuma in the Bahamas, Beaches Barbados, and Beaches Runaway Bay in Jamaica.
If your child loves Sesame Street and would be thrilled to see life-size characters they could talk to and touch, a Beaches resort may be the perfect family vacation destination for you!

Sesame Street Beaches Resort Experiences
There are multiple Sesame Street resort experiences at Beaches. Some of them are complimentary and some have an extra cost. You can book some experiences in advance, and some you can schedule or participate in during your stay (you’ll get a printout listing all the possibilities when you arrive).
There are also always Sesame Street characters walking around the resort.
Here is a quick overview of what’s currently available (note that all experiences may not be available at all resorts).
Sesame Street Parade
Included in your rate is the daily parade, which features Sesame Street characters dancing and singing their way around the resort.
Camp Sesame Kids Club
Also included in your rate at Beaches is this kids club offering for children aged 1 to 4. In addition to the certified nannies that run the other kids clubs, you also get Sesame Street-themed activities including some that have interaction with characters, like baking cookies with Elmo and making puppets with Bert and Ernie.
Nightly Entertainment
Included in your rate is a stage show each evening featuring the Sesame Street characters. Children love to dance and sing along with the characters, and they can even meet them afterward.
Sesame Street Character Breakfast
For an extra fee, you can take your kids to the character breakfast, featuring a buffet-style meal and all the characters walking around and interacting with the guests. This ends with a dance party.
Sesame Street All Access Photo Pass
You can also get a picture with all of the Sesame Street characters at this event, which costs extra.
The Beaches Sesame Street Night Night Sleep Tight Package
Your child can have their favorite character come to your room to read them a bedtime story and tuck them in one evening. You can book these as soon as you make your reservations, and it’s required to book them at least 7 days in advance of your stay. The package, which costs around $100, also comes with a plush toy and an 8×10 photograph of your child with the character.
