What We Love About Sandals Grenada
This resort feels especially luxurious and romantic. The beach is amazing, scuba and snorkeling is great, and the island is a wonderful place to explore.
Getting to Sandals Grenada
This is one of the closest Sandals resorts to the airport, with a transfer time of just 5 minutes. Once you land and get your bags, a Sandals rep will show you to the complimentary shuttle and you’ll be there before you know it.
Sandals Grenada Rooms and Suites
There are some incredible room options at Sandals Grenada. These include the Skypool butler suites, which have elevated balconies with private infinity pools; Rondoval butler suites with private pool sanctuaries; swim-up suites; 1-bedroom butler villas with private pools; and beachfront walkout suites with oversized soaking tubs on the patio.
We stayed in a swim-up butler suite and really enjoyed that extra level of service that a butler provides.
All the butler suites come with 24-hour inroom dining and personal butler service.
No matter which room you choose, you’ll have a private patio or balcony, often with an oversized soaking tub.
Sandals Grenada Food and Drink
There are 10 restaurants and 6 bars at Sandals Grenada. We found the food to be really good and especially enjoyed Spices, Soy Sushi, Butch’s Steakhouse, Neptune’s, the Café de Paris, and Cucina Romana.
Since all meals are included, you can feel free to order multiple dishes and sample flavors you might not otherwise try.
Sandals Grenada Beach and Pools
The beach at Sandals Grenada is spectacular and one of our favorites. Known as Pink Gin Beach, it’s a long stretch of white sand along beautiful water. There’s an enclosed swimming area where you can also snorkel see colorful fish.
And there are always plenty of beach chairs, which is not the case at every resort.
Multiple pools here include the quiet pool near the beach, a pool by the swim-up suites, and the main pool which has a swim-up bar and daily activities.
Activities and Entertainment at Sandals Grenada
As at every Sandals resort, you get plenty of complimentary watersports here. They include snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, windsurfing, and scuba diving.
You can also try SNUBA for an extra fee.
Land activities include day and night tennis, beach volleyball, shuffleboard, bocce ball, and table tennis. There’s also a fitness center with exercise classes. The Red Lane Spa offers a variety of spa services, which cost extra.
Daily and nightly entertainment includes theme nights, talent nights, beach parties, and live music.
And although they cost extra, we highly recommend doing some area excursions. Grenada is a gorgeous island with plenty to see and do. We visited the capital of St. George, saw a waterfall, toured a spice nursery, and explored the jungle (and saw local monkeys!).
