Best Time to Visit a Sandals Resort
There are several factors to consider when deciding the best time to visit a Sandals all-inclusive resort. The main ones are weather and cost. Since Sandals resorts are all beachfront and feature tons of complimentary outdoor activities, you’ll want to be able to spend much of your time outside. And you’ll likely also want to make your trip as affordable as possible.
Of course, everyone wants to go when the weather is best, so this tends to be when prices are highest. But let’s look at these in more detail.

Weather
Every Sandals resort is located in the Caribbean, where it’s always warm. However, some months it can get pretty hot and humid, and there is greater potential for rain and storms.
There are two seasons in the Caribbean: dry and wet. The dry season is December to May, and the wet season is June to November.
The dry season offers the best weather, with warm temperatures, sunny skies, and little chance of rain.
The weather during the wet season is not consistently bad, though—it mostly consists of hotter temperatures and higher humidity, with occasional showers and thunderstorms. These tend to pass quickly.
However, this is also hurricane season. If you travel during this time, we recommend getting travel insurance. Note that Sandals Royal Curacao is located outside the hurricane zone, so it’s a good option for those months.
However, know that every Sandals is well-prepared for storms. We actually were at a Sandals in Jamaica when a hurricane came, and were so impressed with how well they took care of us.
What is the best time of year to go to Sandals?
For the best weather, the best time of year to go to Sandals is in the winter. The months of December, January, and February are dry, warm but not too hot, and sunny. This is also during the peak season, however, so costs and crowds will be higher.
For lower costs but nice weather in the dry season, consider March, April, and May, but avoid holidays like spring break and Easter.

Cost
The other main factor to consider when evaluating the best time to visit a Sandals is cost. If you’re looking to save money, you’ll want to avoid the high season of the winter months.
The shoulder seasons—spring and fall—offer good weather and lower prices, while the off season has the lowest prices of all but most potential for bad weather.
The shoulder season for Sandals is late April to mid May, and October through mid-December. These months will generally offer lower prices and fewer crowds.
What is the off season for Sandals Resorts?
The off season for Sandals is during the summer and fall—June to November—when temperatures are highest and rain most likely in the Caribbean. This is also hurricane season. If you visit during this time, be sure to get travel insurance.
What is the cheapest time to go to Sandals?
The cheapest time to go to Sandals is during the low season, especially late August to early November.
