The Best Sandals Wedding Resort
Sandals resorts are perfect for destination weddings because they are designed to be romantic and are set on beautiful beaches all across the Caribbean.
They also have dedicated wedding planning teams who are experts at making your dreams come true, as well as a range of wonderful wedding venues including overwater chapels, traditional chapels, garden gazebos, oceanfront gazebos, and of course amazing beaches.
There are currently 17 Sandals resorts, so it can be hard to choose the best one for your wedding.
While this is really a matter of personal preference and what sort of wedding and overall experience you want to have, we have visited every Sandals resort and definitely have our own opinions.
Here are our picks for the best Sandals resort for a wedding.
Sandals St. Vincent
The newest Sandals resort, Sandals St. Vincent is our favorite overall. The setting is just gorgeous between lush mountains and the sea, the food is incredible, the pools and beach are great, and the service is friendly and fantastic.
Plus, it has a laidback vibe and some truly amazing accommodations like two-story overwater villas. For wedding venues, there is an overwater wedding chapel as well as a lovely riverside wedding pavilion. It is a little more pricey and hard to get to than other Sandals resorts, however.

Sandals South Coast, Jamaica
One of the most popular Sandals for weddings and honeymoons, Sandals South Coast has a secluded setting in a pristine nature preserve. It features a long private white-sand beach, overwater bungalows, and an overwater wedding chapel.
This is one of the more affordable Sandals resorts, and it’s pretty large so there is plenty of space for everyone. However, note that it is 90 minutes from the airport along rough and winding roads,
Sandals Montego Bay, Jamaica
This is a great choice for destination weddings because it’s just 5 minutes from the airport, and it’s a good-sized resort with plenty of accommodation and dining options. It also features both the overwater chapel and a traditional wedding chapel.
Note that since this resort is so close to the airport, there is some plane noise. This is mainly during the day, so if you get married then you may hear some. If this is a concern but you still want to be close to the airport, consider Sandals Royal Caribbean, which is about 10 minutes away.

Sandals Dunn’s River, Jamaica
Our favorite Sandals in Jamaica, Sandals Dunn’s River has some amazing unique restaurants and bars. It is located in Ocho Rios close to fun excursions like Dunn’s River Falls and the Blue Hole, if you want to do some exploring with your guests.
We loved everything here, from the beautiful setting to the delicious food to the cool pools and excellent service. Golf is also included here.
Sandals Grande St. Lucian
The largest of three Sandals resorts in stunning St. Lucia, Sandals Grande St. Lucian has an overwater chapel as well as overwater bungalows that are the perfect honeymoon hideaway.
It’s set on a mile-long stretch of white sand with the calmest water on the island, so it’s perfect for couples and guests who like to do watersports. Plus, you have access to everything at the other two resorts so you have tons of restaurant and bar options. Golf is also included here.

Sandals Grenada
Another of our favorite Sandals resorts, this is a beautiful and romantic resort that has multiple nice areas for weddings. It has a laidback and relaxed ambiance, but there is still plenty to do.
The food here is great, as is the service, and there are luxurious accommodations like Skypool suites and Rondoval suites with private pool sanctuaries that are perfect for honeymooners.
