Which Sandals Resort has the Best Beach?

One of the most frequently asked questions we get when helping people choose a Sandals Resort is which one has the best beach.

Check out the breakdown as we share which Sandals resort has the best beach based on our experience.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian

Sandals Grande St, Lucian is set on a mile-long beach surrounding the calm and clear waters of Rodney Bay. The calm waters allow for relaxation, snorkeling, and even water sports like Wakeboarding or water skiing.

The island of Saint Lucia stands out as a gem in the Caribbean. Its lush rainforests, pristine beaches, and the iconic Piton Mountains create a backdrop that’s nothing short of breathtaking.

The island offers a harmonious blend of luxury and nature, ensuring couples experience both relaxation and adventure. Its rich culture, influenced by African, East Indian, French, and English heritage, adds a unique charm that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Sandals South Coast

Jamaica

Sandals South Coast rests on a 2-mile stretch of incredible beachfront. This gorgeous stretch of beach is located on a 500-acre nature preserve, so you’ll feel worlds away while enjoying the paradise of Jamaica

This is the best beach of any Sandals resort in Jamaica since it is so long and has great sand. Do be careful as there are sea urchins around that can be very painful if stepped on. You can get snorkeling gear to check out the area you are walking in or wear water shoes.

Sandals Grande Antigua

Sandals Grande Antigua has won the award for the Caribbean’s Most Romantic Resort by the World Travel Awards multiple times and even won the Most Romantic Resort in the World in the past.

The resort is located on Dickenson Bay, Antigua’s most famous beach. While it is not private and there are vendors passing by regularly it is a beautiful beach with amazing water.

Sandals Negril

Located on Jamaica’s famous Seven-Mile Beach, you’ll love the beautiful white sand and aquamarine water at Sandals Negril. Lounge under a palm tree, go scuba diving, snorkeling, sailboating, wakeboarding, or any of the other included water activities on site.

One of the best restaurants, Barefoot by the Sea is located in the sand and makes for a perfect place to enjoy the beach each morning at breakfast or in the evening for dinner.

Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados

Both Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados are beachfront – nestled on Maxwell Beach – and guests at either resort have access to the areas and facilities at the other property. So even though you’ll end up picking just one resort, you might feel like you’re staying at both.

The beach has beautiful white sand and clear blue water. There is a row of stones just off the coast keeping the water directly in front of the resort calm, with a little more movement to the sides. You can enjoy the water sports provided by the resort or hop on one of the jet skis available for hire on the beach.

Sandals Grenada

My personal favorite beach at a Sandals resort is at Sandals Grenada. The water is a beautiful shade of blue/green and the beach area is enclosed by a rock wall making it a perfect area for fish to live so snorkeling is fun too.

The beach also gets some small waves from time to time which I enjoy when floating around.

Some people might disagree with this since the beach is pretty small.

Sandals Saint Vincent

The newest Sandals resort, Sandals St. Vincent has a large beautiful beach with white sand beach. The white sand was imported to cover the black sand beach. While the black sand beach is beautiful and unique it would make for a very hot beach if it was left alone.

Another fun attraction at Sandals Saint Vincent is the dogs that you will find relaxing on the beach during the day. This is an obvious plus for dog lovers, but some people will appreciate it more than others.

Sandals resorts are top of the list for design, amenities, and beach access. These 7 resorts are often considered the resorts with the best beaches. Depending on what you’re looking for, you’ll find it at one of these great resorts while enjoying the sun and the sand!
