Sandals Saint Vincent, St. Vincent & the Grenadines

Opened: March 2024

One of our very favorite Sandals resorts, Sandals St. Vincent offers an authentic vibe in a lesser-visited destination. It is nestled between lush mountains and the sparkling sea, combining stunning natural beauty with upscale design.

This newest Sandals resort introduces the first-ever Two-Story Vincy Overwater Villas, as well as offering butler villas that are on the beach and have private pools. The island is an untouched paradise just waiting to be explored, offering black and white sand beaches, rainforests, and welcoming locals.

Sandals St. Vincent has 12 restaurants, 9 bars, 5 pools, 2 whirlpools, and a variety of complimentary activities including scuba diving, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, and tennis.

What we love here:

  • Breathtaking location
  • Excellent food including local dishes
  • Beautiful beach with calm blue water
  • Great pools including two-tiered beachfront infinity pool
  • Friendly service
  • Luxurious accommodations
  • Butler-level suites get airport transfers via boat

Sandals Dunn’s River, Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Opened: May 2023

The best Sandals in Jamaica and another of our top choices, Sandals Dunn’s River elevates the entire experience with fantastic food at great new restaurants, craft cocktails at cool bars, beautiful design, fun pools, and fabulous luxury suites.

This resort is also located conveniently close to two top destinations, Dunn’s River Falls and the Blue Hole. We highly recommend doing excursions to them.

The beach is nice and long here, with plenty of beach chairs, but there are some rocks when you first get in the water. Although it’s pretty, it’s not our favorite Sandals beach. However, the water is so calm that they are able to offer motorized watersports.

Sandals Dunn’s River has 12 restaurants, 9 bars, 5 pools, 2 river pools, several whirlpools, and complimentary activities including snorkeling, scuba diving, paddleboarding, kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, waterskiing, tubing, glass bottom boat rides, tennis, pickleball, and more.

What we love here:

  • The restaurants, including Zuka for Latin American fusion
  • The unique bars, including the Rum Club
  • Blum coffee bar, which is above-and-beyond the usual coffee café offerings
  • Incredible suites including the first-ever Coyaba Sky Rondovals, which have a furnished rooftop deck with a Tranquility Soaking Tub, swim-up access, and a private pool plus personal butler service, as well as beachfront Skypool suites
  • Excellent service
  • Cool water features throughout the resort
  • Includes golf, with free green fees at and transportation to a nearby 18-hole course.

Sandals Royal Curacao, Curacao

Opened: June 2022

Located on the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao, Sandals Royal Curacao has a European vibe and hip design. It also features restaurants and accommodations that are unique to this location. The food is excellent and varied, including local cuisine and a Dutch café.

Amenities and accommodations are top-notch, including an incredible beachfront infinity pool, the first-ever Awa Seaside Butler Bungalows with private pools, and the first-ever Kurason Island Poolside Bungalows. Plus, the waters around Curacao are excellent for snorkeling and scuba diving.

However, the beach at this resort is a little different: the main sandy area doesn’t allow swimming. The swimming beach is a separate area that is divided from the main water by a floating dock, so it’s not as pretty as other Sandals locations. However, you can snorkel here.

Sandals Royal Curacao has 8 restaurants, 3 food trucks, 13 bars including an overwater bar, complimentary activities including snorkeling, scuba diving, paddleboarding, kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, water trikes, tennis, beach volleyball, and more.

What we love here:

  • Delicious food including local cuisine
  • Stunning two-level glass-front infinity pool
  • Fabulous luxury suites with private pools
  • Romantic touches like heart-shaped loungers and hidden hot tubs
  • European-feeling island and charming Willemstad for excursions
  • Dutch bikes you can ride around to explore
  • Includes golf, with free green fees at and transportation included to a nearby 18-hole course.
  • Located outside the hurricane belt so it’s great for summer vacations
