Designed in a charming French style, the Beaches Turks & Caicos French Village is one of five main areas in the family-friendly all-inclusive resort.

An affordable and relatively peaceful area, the Turks & Caicos French Village is close to the waterpark, but this makes it far from the beach. None of the rooms has an ocean view.

We loved the French Villa for being close to so many things, we basically didn’t need to leave except to fo the beach.

French Village Pros

  • Relatively quiet atmosphere
  • Close to the waterpark
  • More affordable room rates
  • Plenty of restaurants
  • Great pool with a swim-up bar

 French Village Cons

  • Far from the beach
  • No water view from rooms
  • Some rooms are older
  • Can be noisy at night
  • Only luxury and concierge rooms available

Turks & Caicos French Village Rooms

The French Village is the furthest from the beach, set behind the waterpark. Room choices here include double and king luxury rooms, luxury walkout rooms with garden and pool views, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom concierge suites. Rates are less than some of the other villages, as none of these rooms has an ocean view.

The smallest and most affordable room sleeps 4 and has a king bed, a twin daybed with trundle, and a balcony with pool and garden views. The largest room is a three-bedroom concierge suite that sleeps 14 and has two king beds, two double beds, three twin trundle beds, and two sleeper chairs. It features a parlor, a dining table, three bathrooms, and a private patio or balconette with pool and garden views.

These are all the rooms and suites in the Beaches Turks & Caicos French Village:

  • French Village Three Bedroom Concierge Suite
  • French Village Two Bedroom Concierge Suite
  • French Village One Bedroom Concierge Suite
  • French Village Luxury Walkout Room Double
  • French Village Luxury Walkout Room King

Beaches Turks & Caicos French Village Restaurants & Bars

The French Village has 6 restaurants plus a food truck, giving you plenty of options.

The Turks & Caicos French Village restaurants are:

  • Le Petit Chateau: This French restaurant is open for Dinner for ages 12+ and is resort casual. This is also where you can have breakfast with Sesame Street characters. The character breakfast comes at an additional cost.
  • Soy: Enjoy as many pieces of sushi as you would like! This restaurant is only open for dinner and also has sushi bowls.
  • Kimono’s: This is a favorite for the whole family and requires reservations. The Teppanyaki cooking style entertains with the cooking style and interactive tricks as they prepare food in front of you.
  • Café de Paris: A perfect place for specialty coffee and pastries in the morning and throughout the day. We highly recommend Iced Carmel Lattes.
  • Giuseppe’s: Enjot a buffet for all meals with Italian-inspired cuisine.
  • Bobby Dee’s: This American diner-themed restaurant serves typical American fare like burgers, hot dogs, pizza, and fries. It is open late and also serves icecream and other treats like cotton candy.
  • Mr. Mac: We loved grabbing Mac & Cheese from this food truck for lunch.
  • Curls & Swirls: Get frozen yogurt and milk shakes during the day.

The French Village has only two bars: the swim-up bar in the pool and a bar attached to the French restaurant

The Waterpark

Pirates Island Waterpark at Beaches Turks & Caicos is located right next to the French village. It is a 45,000-square-foot park designed for guests of all ages. It has several water slides including a few larger ones for a little thrill.

There is also a lazy river, surf simulators, and kids splash pad area.

French Village Activities and Entertainment

Although the French Village is furthest from the beach, it is closest to the giant waterpark.

It also holds the fitness center and one of the Red Lane Spas. There are daily fitness classes on the main entertainment stage, which is located in the village, in addition to a large lawn with a croquet set and room to run around. Plus, it is located right next to the tennis courts in the Caribbean Village.

At night, there are live shows on the entertainment stage, leading to a pretty vibrant atmosphere. When we were there, we saw a Sesame Street performance followed by a meet and greet and a movie night, Family Feud, and Bingo.

Each week, there is also a street party with local vendors selling souvenirs, performers, and a barbeque with tons of variety.

French Village Pool

In the middle of the French Village is the main attraction, the large pool. It is the best pool at Turks & Caicos for families and all-day enjoyment.

On the side of one pool, there is a very shallow kiddie pool area perfect for toddlers to enjoy splashing around during the day. At one end of the pool is a large swim-up bar for grabbing drinks throughout the day.

Around the pool you’ll find plenty of lounge chairs and shaded cabanas.
